Through the use of particular materials and varying the shape, the product can be configured to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and service life.

The cutting tool shown is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard variant for most operational scenarios. The hardness of this rotor knife is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears consistently over its lifespan.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of items of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

When installing the rotor knife, please assure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
