In this variant, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears steadily over its lifespan.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

When fitting the stator knife, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
