The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the service life can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well customised to the application area.

In the X-version, the stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you a suitable combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the tool life of the stator knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 75°.
