Detailed description

Rotor knife RMCL0240-X0A by CUTMETALL for recycling machines.

Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of particular materials and varying the cutting shape, the component can be configured to the area of application in terms of throughput and service life.

The rotor knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard variation in most break down applications.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Products of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

We underline that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the rotor knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

It is imperative that the rotor knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

The measurements of this item are 240mm in length, 121mm in width and 55mm in height.
