The X-version of this spare part is made of tool steel. The cutting tool has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-variations.

In this variant, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.
