Detailed description

Rotor knife RMRD0390-X0L by CUTMETALL for crushing machines by Rapid.

Compatibility with machines:

This item is ideally suitable for cutting millses from Rapid.

Cutting performance and durability:

The performance of the product depends chiefly on the version of the material and cutting geometry.

This rotor knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variation, which is the standard variant in most areas of application.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears evenly over its lifespan.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

General characteristics:

The measurements of the rotor knife are 390mm long, 93mm wide and 20mm high.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 18°/30°.

As part of the Premium Line, this rotor knife is of German manufacturing.
