This spare part presented is made of tool steel in the X-option, which is our standard variation for most application scenarios. The hardness of this rotor knife is in the medium range.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the service life of the rotor knife.

We highlight that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the rotor knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

For installing, the rotor knife has a drilling for M12 threads.

When attaching the rotor knife, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The measures of the rotor knife are 600mm long, 98mm wide and 24mm high.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 42°.
