Detailed description

Rotor knife RMTR0415-Y00 from CUTMETALL for recycling machines from Tria

Compatibility with machines:

The rotor knife can be inserted for the cutting mills of the Tria company.

Cutting performance and durability:

The performance of this spare part depends primarily on the version of the material and shape.

Due to the alloyed tool steel of the Y-variant, it is approx. 5 % harder than the X-option. This means that a longer tool life can be secured. In comparison, however, the rotor knife is more susceptible to impurities, which can lead to breakage more quickly.

Components of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the components. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

When installing the rotor knife, please assure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

General characteristics:

This component measures 415mm in length, 68mm in width and 14mm in height.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 45°.

As this rotor knife belongs to the Premium Line, the item is exclusively made in German production.
