Who is GETECHA


Since being founded in 1956, this Aschaffenburg based company has offered innovative, complete solutions from one source for both plastics granulation and automation technology. The result is economical and reliable granulators and automated systems that are used globally by renowned companies.

Granulation

From the design phase to commissioning, GETECHA is a competent and reliable partner for granulation projects. Comprehensive experience in the field of granulation technology allows us to find practical and technically mature answers. If a standard machine does not fit your needs we will customize the standard or develop a special solution.

Beside the press granulators
Sprues of all kinds and small missing parts are crushed economically and quietly - adapted to the customer's grinding task.

GRS 180 / GRS 300
The large grinding chamber opening in combination with the inclined rotor enables the size reduction of bulky sprues. Any material to be ground is reliably and uniformly comminuted. The GRS mills start up from standstill at high speed.
The GRS granulators can be equipped and adapted individually. Both models are available with low or high built frame. It is also possible to realize various rotor types or drive capacities.

RS 1600

Thanks to its compact design, the RS 1615 RotoCutter requires only a small footprint in the area of the injection molding machine. Sprues and small missing parts are reliably shredded. Without any adjustment work, the cutting gap and the cutting circle always remain the same, even after a knife change or regrinding. Consistently good quality of the material to be ground and optimum feeding behavior are ensured over the entire service life of the knives.

Central granulator

Whether in injection molding or on the blow molding machine - GETECHA central mills can be used close to production.

RS 2400

The RS 2400 series has a cutting circle of 240 mm.
It is built in cutting widths of 226, 452, 678 and 904 mm.
Range of applications:
  • small central granulator for injection moulding
  • beside the press granulator for large sprues
  • jerry cans up to 5 l
  • infeed granulator for edge trims, films, skeleton film and profiles

RS 30000

The RS 3000 series has a cutting circle of 300 mm. It is built in cutting widths of 400, 630, 945, 1,260 and 1,575 mm. Whether in injection moulding plants or at blow moulding machines – the segmented rotors designed expecially according to requirements master a very wide range of tasks quickly and reliably. Depending on the model, the ergonomically designed granulators can handle up to 600 kg/h.

RS 38000

This series is the consistent further development of the proven RS 2400 and RS 30000 and offers the same advantages. The RS 38000 series has a cutting circle of 380 mm. It is built in cutting widths of 600, 900, 1,200 and 1,500 mm. Different rotors, hoppers and peripherals make it flexible to use.

RS 45000

The RS 4500 series has a cutting circle of 450 mm. It is built in cutting widths of 600, 900, 1,200 and 1,500 mm.
With the aggressive intake zone in the cutting chamber, seizes even thick-walled faulty parts or large hollow parts reliable; the noise level remains low. High throughput is attained by virtue if the optimal ratio between rotor diameter and width, in conjunction with maximum screen area.

RS 6000

The RS 6000 series has a cutting circle of 600 mm.
It is built in cutting widths of 600, 900, 1,200 and 1,500 mm. The successful central granulator for all ranges of plastic granulation. Unbeatable when it comes to granulation of large parts in the injection and blow-molding sector. Makes short work of skeleton film rolls, solid plates, bumpers, thick-walled pipes or lumps.
Range of application:
  • central granulator for bumpers, dashboards, skeleton film rolls, lumps from extruders, pipes, sheets ….
  • for voluminous parts as barrels or plastic fuel tanks
  • for recycling applications up to 3 to/ht (plastic, copper, printed circuit boards)

RS 8000

The RS 8000 series has a cutting circle of 800 mm. It is built in cutting widths of 900, 1,200, 1,500 and 1,800 mm. When tonnage is what counts, the RS 8000 is the granulator of choice. Equipped with an automatic feed system and regrind transport, it becomes a high-performance granulating center. A high level of the automation simplifies maintenance and ensures high economy.

  • central granulator for bumpers, dashboards, skeleton film rolls, lumps from extruders, pipes, sheets…
  • for voluminous parts as barrels or plastic fuel tanks

Infeed granulators


Always the right infeed system for edge trims, film or skeleton sheet!

Granulators with wide infeed

The granulators with wide infeed are installed
  • as central granulator for grinding of sheet rolls from an unwinder (off-line)
  • direct behind a thermoforming line
  • in low built version underneath a punch.
The feed rollers can be smooth (standard), knurled or toothed. With larger roller diameters it is also possible to grind sheet with thermoformed parts.
 
The infeed speed of the granulator can be controlled by the production line.
 
For stand alone solutions our automatic speed adjustment makes the work easier for the operator. By evaluating the dancer movement and position, the current average feed speed of the thermoforming machine is determined and forwarded to the infeed of the granulator. The operator can therefore focus fully on the production, manual adjustment of the speed is no longer necessary!

Granulators for edge trims

For the disposal of edge trims at extrusion lines and rewinding systems GETECHA equip the granulators with infeed systems. The infeed rollers can be designed:
  • smooth (standard)
  • knurled or
  • grooved
They are wear protected in all versions.

For simple applications, the infeed systems can be equipped with rotary field magnetic motors. For applications with higher line speeds, we link the infeed speed with your line speed. The additional speed adjustment guarantees a very reliable operation and does not influence the extrusion and trim cutting process.

Pre-cutters

For very thin films directly in the pipe to sheet edge strips directly in the extrusion line.

Foil cutter FS

The foil cutter FS grinds edge trims and chips of different materials, which can be extracted by suction. It is designed for the installation directly into the piping.
The FS grinds:
  • paper and cardboard
  • plastic
  • textiles
  • glass fibre fleece
  • soft materials (aluminium, lead, etc.)
The solid cast housing and the double-sided bearing of the rotor ensure a very precise cutting gap.

The foil cutters are used successfully on production lines from
20 to 1.000 m/min.
 
The drive motor can be adapted to the respective line speed by a frequency converter. Different rotor versions extend the range of application to the grinding of chips.

Pre-cutter GH

The GETECHA pre-cutters cut thicker sheet edge trims directly at the extrusion line. Typically two pre-cutters are mounted on an adjustment unit underneath the line. One cutter is used per edge strim. The cuts of the sheet fall onto a cross conveyor belt and are transported laterally out of the line.
 
The adjustment unit is adapted to the respective production machine so that the entire production width can be covered. The length of the pre-cut parts depends on the line speed of the extrusion line and the number of strokes of the pre-cutter. The number of strokes of the cutters can be adapted to the line speed by a frequency converter.
