Its strengths include complex mechanical processing of individual and series parts, welding expertise, complete assembly of subassemblies and the development / design and manufacture of special machines. ERMAFA's devision special machinery develops new plants according to customer-specific requirements, especially for the plastics and rubber processing industries. Due to a well-equipped production, experienced mechatronic engineers and design engineers in house, all services from design to service are realized by ERMAFA staff. In addition to the standard product range, the manufacturer also develops special machines in cooperation with customers on the basis of specifications.
Not only new plants are planed and realized in the special machines division, but also old plants which get overhauled and upgraded to new safety standards. Furthermore ERMAFA provides inspections, launch support and even production assistance. The work is oriented on project managers, that means that customers have the same contact person from order to service. With the help of a ‘smart flow’ inside the company, which is constantly being improved, they will get offered an exceptional interesting cost-benefit ratio.
Technology for processing of vulcanized rubber with a reactruder
The ERMAFA processing technology for comminution of vulcanized old rubber with a reactruder is based on the so-called Solid Sate Shear Extrusion (SSSE) technology. It is a continuous working process. Granules of vulcanized waste rubber up to a size of 8 mm can be processed - any type of rubber (NR, EPDM, NBR, AEM). This is what distinguishes the SSSE technology from others. The material is comminuted by high shear forces. The result is a grist with a broad particle size distribution. ERMAFA offers two different machine sizes with capacities from 15 to 100 or 30 to 200 kg/h throughput.

Machine Autoclave Cutting Sterilisator
The MACS series machines are the on-site solution that transforms infectious hospital waste into normal household waste in minutes, eliminating the need for medical waste to travel long distances for disposal. ERMAFA has been on the market with that sterilization systems since 2008 and can provide comprehensive know-how as well as references. This ensures high process reliability as well as availability of the machine(s). The work is carried out according to a certified process of the Robert Koch Institute and meets the WHO standard.
