Detailed description

Agglomerator knife AMEM0160-Y20 from CUTMETALL for crushing machines from ERMAFA Sondermaschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH

Compatibility with machines:

For agglomerators by the manufacturer ERMAFA Sondermaschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH the agglomerator knife is ideally applicable.

Cutting performance and durability:

The shape and the material used for constructing have a significant influence on the resistance and product lifetime.

In the Y-variant, this item is made of alloyed tool steel. The agglomerator knife in this option is approx. 5% harder than the X-version, which results in a longer longevity. Nonetheless, the texture is also more brittle. Due to that it can be more fragile if there is a high level of impurities.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the agglomerator knife.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

When fitting the agglomerator knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

General characteristics:

The measures of the agglomerator knife are 160mm long, 59mm wide and 39mm high.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 90°/60°.

As this agglomerator knife belongs to our Premium Line, the cutting tool presented comes exclusively from German production.
