Cutmetall-plus GmbH is a subsidiary of Cutmetall GmbH, specialist in recycling knives and wearing parts. Cutmetall-plus develops and produces composite tools for highly-abrasive machining processes.

A new composite plate with a useful life up to 7 times longer than standard plates was specially developed for high-wear dryer plates in so-called turbo dryers (machines used for drying plastics) without modifying the geometry defined by the product manufacturer. Abrasion on the impact edge is reduced to a minimum so that the dryer can process material more efficiently and with greater process reliability. A homogenous drying process and low wear combined with minimal maintenance and greater machine utilisation are the main advantages of this new product that our customers appreciate the most.

Cutmetall-plus composite plates can be manufactured and adapted to most turbo dryers with relative ease. Initial results indicate that this new development will be as successful as Cutmetall-plus composite cutting tools already available on the market and used in a wide range of plastics preparation processes.
